Passive component factory Huaxinke (2492) said yesterday (27) that the supply of passive components will be tight for a long time, optimistic laminated ceramic capacitors (MLCC) to 2020 will be in short supply, and even the supply and demand gap will expand in 2020.

Huaxinke was invited to participate in JPMorgan 4th Annual Asia Tech Tour held by JPMorgan Chase Securities yesterday. Looking ahead to the market situation of passive components, Huaxinke said that the global supply of passive components continued to be constrained by equipment delivery, raw materials and limited industrial talent, especially in the LCC products, because there was no new capacity to provide in the market. Suppliers of large-scale, reliable and complete products are expected to have a long-term tight supply of passive components, which will become normal in the future, but may fluctuate slightly due to short-term regional economic impacts.

Huaxinke also pointed out that in response to the market situation, the company plans to expand production by 15% to 20% this year, will be MLCC-based, and next year will continue to expand production market.
