Taiwan IC design plant Sunplus technology has set up an intelligent computing project, which will provide an advanced process computing plan that will benefit small and medium-sized IC design plants and schools.

Ling Yang said that the intelligent computing project has been raised for more than two years. With the continuous progress of the chip technology and the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the time for consideration is becoming mature, so the intelligent operation case is formally established this year, led by the associate Su Mingzhang.

Ling Yang points out that a large number of related chips need to adopt advanced process technology, but the price is expensive and the small and medium IC design plants with insufficient financial resources are difficult to bear; on the other hand, the school is more difficult to use advanced process technology based on business secrets.

The intelligent computing project is designed to help medium and small IC design plants and schools to solve the difficulties in the use of advanced processes.

Sunyang pointed out that the intelligent computing project will provide 28 nm and 16 nm process plan at the beginning of the project, and will follow the results again and decide to provide more advanced process plan.
